Will i make it off road?
My names Blake this is my 3rd xj and 5th jeep overall. I am an experienced wheeler and have usually set up all my own jeeps. However I just bought this off my boss and am wondering how well it's going to do with those 33/15.50/15 and 3.5 tuff country ez ride lift kit. Feel like there will be a lot of rubbing and a lot of almost tipping. But I love the way this thing drives on the street, like a dream. What do you think?

I have no lift and 31" TSLs and I follow my buddy's Rubicon on 35s with no issues. Pull the sway bars and flex it, if you have good tires it should wheel fine

Meh my neighbor now has a JK on 35s that I just don't find impressive. It's nice but I wouldn't imagine it all that great, a cherokee on 35s would be better offroad in my opinion. Even the guys at the 4wheelparts store near me with 37s on their JKs just doesn't seem impressive. Now a Cherokee on 37s, locked just the same would be far better in my opinion lol.

And I agree with ta2tony, flex it out and make sure it's properly bumpstopped and you're good to go. But those are 15.50s?? What Brand/Tire?

Rubicon on big tires big deal ! Big tires on an xj now thats a task not for the faint of heart.
To the OP I was on 3-4 (level of diffaculty 1-5 5 being the trails for buggies and rigs with huge tires) diamond trails in my stock xj with 30x9.50 all Terrains. All in how you drive it.

Also the trails we typically wheel aren't that technical so I can follow him lol. Tougher terrain yeah I would lose him but the point is that you can wheel an XJ stock or mildly built, just have a good spotter to keep those rocks away from your diffs and t-case
Also Interco makes some 33x15.5, I think the SX, Bogger, and Thornturd

That thing will be a pain to tip over. Low and wide, you will be fine. Bumpstop and good to go.

Its actually only on 2" lift, not bumpstopped. Its funny when he shears entire lugs off on his fenders About all I can actually do better than him is steep ascents because he has a short wheelbase and about 300# of gear on a rear rack

31z10.50s didnt handle very wells on mine and nor do my current 30x9.50s. I plan on a 30x11.50 or more then likely 35x13.50 or 36x14.50 for my next set. May run 30x11.50s as dds tho
