Question Will this fit my jeep?

So my manifold collector has a crack in it so I'm lookin to replace it. I don't have the money to buy legit aftermarket headers so I'm just gonna replace it with this...

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=310409201448

Now, all it says is jeep wrangler grand Cherokee 4.0...this will fit my XJ with an I6 right? I just want to make sure. and I was also wondering, what use is the flex pipe on the two outside pipes if the 4 in the middle are solid. That kills the purpose no? I'm ready to buy it and just put a flex pipe connected to it along with motor mounts. I just wanna make sure it fits, ya know?

Thankyou for any help!

The APN stainless header is not much more (~$150 IIRC). That's the one many XJ owners are very happy with, including myself. If you have the extra cash I would highly recommend it.

The flex pipe allows the 2 long pipes to expand when they heat up helping the manifold not crack. The short pieces aren't effected by heat like the long pipes

Honestly, the only thing that kind of scares me about this header is that they say it will fit the Wrangler, GC, and Cherokee... I happen to know that is not the case in most stiuations.

thats what I'm scarred of too! like the only thing it really says that lets me know it will fit a cherokee XJ is that it says "4.0L" I'm seriously not trying to buy a product that won't fit my motor. and wranglers font have I6 so how would that manifold fit a wrangler and also a cherokee? i guess ima have to contact the vendor to clarify all of this....so besides not knowing 100% if it will fit my motor..does it seem like a nice header??

I've bought 3 of those manifolds. They do just fine.

I have one just like that on all 3 of my Jeeps. No problem yet.

By "font" did you mean dont? And since when do the Wranglers (TJs) not have the 4.0 Inline or L6? How would the same manifold fit the Cherokee and the Wrangler ...... because they have the same engine. I would be more worried about it not fitting the frame rails or clearing a component that may be placed differently from one model to the other.

L6 is another way of saying I6 or Inlnie 6. A carry over designation from the old L head inline 6 engines.
