thinking about building me some steering. heims are so easy but this is my dd. just wanting to know how long they last or if i should come up with a tre setup

been running heims on my DD for about a year now. they are just fine, a bit a squeaky sometimes until i shoot sime grease in there.
only downside is that if you bust a heim, its not like you can go to your local parts store and pick a set up. so just make sure you carry spares if you decide to go down that route.

carry spares and expect some noise every once and a while. also, using safety washers wont hurt.Originally Posted by posjeepxj

you should be able to get a couple years out of them, just clean and grease them regularly.

And it looks like his pass side bolt holding the drag long and tie rod on the knuckle is a little tweaked. May just be the picture. Also the welded on nut on the driver side knuckle.Originally Posted by N20jeep
