who runs heims on there steerinf linkage and drives every day?

thinking about building me some steering. heims are so easy but this is my dd. just wanting to know how long they last or if i should come up with a tre setup

been running heims on my DD for about a year now. they are just fine, a bit a squeaky sometimes until i shoot sime grease in there.

only downside is that if you bust a heim, its not like you can go to your local parts store and pick a set up. so just make sure you carry spares if you decide to go down that route.

I have for a year now also.... im running the ironrock setup w 35's no problems

there hard to find locally if you break them and dotn think there dot approveed

yea, hiems are NOT d.o.t. approved... not like local law enforcement anywhere in the U.S. would know this, much less even know what a hiem joint is

I have ran Heims on quite a few rigs and they work great,One big thing is don't use junk cheap heims if your going to do it.

carry spares and expect some noise every once and a while. also, using safety washers wont hurt.

you should be able to get a couple years out of them, just clean and grease them regularly.

And it looks like his pass side bolt holding the drag long and tie rod on the knuckle is a little tweaked. May just be the picture. Also the welded on nut on the driver side knuckle.
