Wheel sizing assistance please!
Hey guys I've moved this thread from jeep com as I can't seem to get much luck over there. I understand this is a performance orientated site, but I have racecars to fill that need in life. My jeep is just for driving over stuff
I've recently lifted my 00' XJ with OME heavy duty leafs and springs. I was sagging pretty hard, so I can't give a definitive amount that I got for a lift..But now that it's settled and it's a lot!!
That being said, I'm looking at a set of 33's for daily duty and once in a while off-road trails (definitely nothing extreme, just paths to camp sites.
Tires: https://www.treadwright.com/p-75-285-75r16-warden-a-t-e.aspx
I have two questions essentially, the specs for this wheel call for 7.5" to 9" What would be best for daily duty? I'll be running high pressure for good gas mileage.
Secondly, what backspacing would clear stock components and give me that wider stance?
Thanks guys!

Go 8 in. wide, that way when you go bigger- cause you will, you're good.
Look at Discount Tire for prices. I found some 35/12.50/15 BFG KTM 2's for the same price as the Treadwrights.
Funny thing is, the 35's are cheaper than the 33's.
Weird.
