what's wrong?
My Cherokee takes longer than usual to start, the battery is new, starter, alternator, fuel pump, fuel filter, battery leads all new I don't know what else the steering column is new...

If its a Renix era Jeep they take longer than modern era fuel injected cars to start because the crank has to be spinning fast enough for the CPS to see a signal. I believe it is 300 RPM's so with older wiring and what not it just takes that little extra bit for the computer to do everything to start.
If you jeep is newer it shouldn't have this "problem" and there is something going on elsewhere. I would start with a tune up and checking fuel pressure while cranking the engine.
