What are your opinions on this rock slider? Don't know if they're solid or hollow tubes. All I know is what you see in the link.

Yea I agree- JCRS have held up great- I would ask what they are made of but the JCRs LOOK better too- They usually have a tax return sale- I think I would go that route.

Ah well, I was hoping they were comparable. I could save on shipping, too.

Just ask him what they are made of. They look cheap but those pictures don't give us a ton to go by. I don't like how the outer bar does not have any support in the center. Seems like a good landing or rubbing on it could bend or break it.

I wouldn't call it free shipping. All they did was increase their prices and added the cost of shipping in to them. So it really isnt free since you're still paying for it via higher priced items.

Check out Nates 4X4, I can vouch for his sliders, they work great. And all of his product is "free shipping" .......or at least included in the price of the product.

This irks me more than anything.

When a company raises the prices rather significantly on a product and then calls it "free shipping".

As Dan at ruff stuff says an offroading company sells offroad products NOT shipping.

OP if you have a welder make your own sliders. That way you can make them the way you want.

I dont like them from what I can see. They look like they hang down too low from the rocker and also stick out too much. (the square tube should be about even with the rocker) Also the ends should be cut at an angle so you could slide onto rocks better instead of hitting the rocks with a blunt end and getting stuck.

Another thing I see they did was increased prices then made them "on sale". The bumper i purchased last year for $519 is now $702.90 but "on sale" for $639. Essentially I paid $645 with shipping on a product they now claim is $702.90 but "on sale" for $639 with free shipping. You'll save $6 assuming shipping prices haven't gone up or down since last January. Lol
