Like the title asks. I'm installing a three inch lift on my 01 XJ. Recommendations needed. 1.5 inch? 2 inch?

You dont need anything but a stock pitman arm for a 3" lift

(on a 3" lift) Wouldn't a 2" drop pitman arm put the steering geometry back within 1" of stock?,, guessing you would get a 2" drop track bar bracket, to keep everything in line.

Stock Pittman arm is fine for up to a 4.5" lift.

That's fine, but you still dont need to change the pitman arm. I'm running a 3" lift on my DD '98 and I have stock pitman arm and relocated the bottom mount hole for the stock track bar. I have zero issues.
