I had an OX locker for about a year and hated the damn thing. never could keep the cable adjusted and it came apart in the diff...literally.

I'm running an Eaton e-lockers in my axles (both D44's) and swear by them. I've installed them in D30's as well and have yet to hear any complaints. Great product!!

I'm hoping to have them on my website in the near future.

Aussie with 35's

Learned a valuable lesson last year... Go easy on the skinny pedal. I also decide to convert to x-joints and modify my axle shafts (stock) for full circle clips.

Eaton E-lockers for my D/30, Detroit locker for my C/8.25. From everything I've read and everyone I asked, that I trusted to know, the E-locker is about as good as it gets for a selectable for the front.

I have a True-Trac in my D30 front end on my daily driver Cherokee and it's great. I drove in 2ft of snow in Big Bear, Ca like it was nothing.

i have a trutrac
but it was free.
otherwise id run a full detroit for the added strength.

id say full detroit if you have the budget,
selectable if your wife will ever drive it in the snow and you really have a big budget,

or just throw an aussie in there and say screw and wheel that until you can afford to build a better 30 on the side...

Because there are far more YJ's, and TJ's on the road than there are XJ's.

I really wish Eaton made an 8.25" E-locker as well.

None that I'm aware of.
Not advisable for a rig that see's any street time.
