I have found that you can get some pretty good deals on used stuff. I usually go that route. than you can get exactly what you want.
this of course is assuming you know what you want.

IF you can find deals on pieces, then it is usually cheaper. Yes you can add spacers/another set of coil spring isolators. Adj track bar is definitely worth it. YOu can build a bastard pack/ext shackles for rear.

If your vehicle is correct in your user box, then you have coil springs in the rear also. ZJ/WJ both have coil springs front and rear.
YOu could probably search jeepforum and pirate for "kits" or pieces for relatively cheap. SYE may be needed, but nice to have even if it is not "necessary" At 5" of lift a new track bar is pretty much necessary. And since there are coils front and rear you will need one for both.

oh yeah, good call. if it is a grand cherokee different story, well kind of, for the rear anyway.
no matter what you need a trackbar for the front, if your gonna go 5" than you shoul dhave a drop also, which would mean you need a drop pitman arm.
if it is an xj, do NOT use 3" blocks. for the love of god, especially on stock springs. they will no doubt already have negative arch. build a bastard pack.
you will have to do control arms, or even better yet start off with a set of control arm drop brackets and do arms later.
