Default What did I buy today?

I know they are RE coils but I can't find a part number. There are I think 12 coils and the free standing length on them is roughly 22" tall.

Any idea?

The track bar

The steering I have NO idea but it's HUGE and heavy as ****.

The steering looks like a Currie hd steering.
Here is a pic of a C-HD steering
steering stabilizer is not in these pics

Another pic of C-HD steering.

Steering looks like an older Rusty's set. Track bar is a RE1660 but you are missing the double sheer bracket.

I'm new to all of this. Is that the big *** bracket that bolts up high on the drivers side? I did get it but this track bar needs new bushings/joint I think.

Currie Steering, Double Sheer RE Trackbar, and you'll probably have the best bet to measure the coils and call RE since i'm sure they have the specs on their stuff.

The track bar is rebuildable but may just need a good greasing. The axle end uses stock size bushings which you can get at any parts store cheaper than RE.

i have both 4.5 inch and 5.5 inch rubicon express kits.

the 4.5 came with i believe 1600 track bar with a heim joint on frame end.
the 5.5 came with i believe 1660 track bar with the double shear and frame mount. the same as what's here. and your track bar RE joint needs to be rebuilt. you need the special RE spanner tool to take it apart. it's cheap.

so i think you may have the 5.5 coils. i can go out to the shop and measure my 5.5 coils since they're just sitting on the shelf now. but not till i get home from work.

and yes, that looks like currie steering. rusty's didn't make anything that looks that nice. lol.

Thank you!

Damn, I didn't know I needed a wrench to replace that joint. I ordered the RE poly bushing on ebay last night.

no, not really
i just thought it was going to be that kind of thread
sorry if i insulted anyone

if it counts, a few days ago i bough a set of used 235/15's tires w/ rims and jeep center caps for my 'up country' cherokee

its primarily my daughters jeep (i mainly drive my 86 CJ7 Laredo and my '13 Ford CrewCab), and we only bought them for the centercaps
...but, we were blessed to get rims and pretty good tires with them for $50 TOTAL, not each!

(im allowed to use emoticons, right??)

ok my 5.5 measures out at 22.5 out of the jeep.
and my 4.5 measure out at 14.5 in the jeep, compressed.

these are rubicon express coils. 5.5 inch extreme duty kit and 4.5 inch super flex kit.

I'm going to guess these ARE the 5.5 then as I measured again and I got around 22-3/8" roughly out of the Jeep standing up on end.
