Default What axle is this? Dana 44 waggy?

So I bought a Dana 44, and like a dumb*** I trusted the guy who said he had it in his Cherokee (which he obviously didnt). He said it came out of a waggy. I would just like to know what it is and hopefully the year if that matters so I can buy gears, truss, etc. Any help is appreciated! What axle is this? Dana 44 waggy?-1261403-1381267411-465945.jpg

If it came out of a Cherokee it was a full size version. The leaf spring mounts were a good sign it wasn't in an XJ.

You could always resell it,To use you would have to change your t case to the passenger side drop and rework the exhaust.

Most definately not a Chevy axle. They are spring over and this is a spring under axle. Good eye on the driver side knuckle though with the high steer. Unless it's some homebuilt garbage you may be able to get something out of them. If both sides are have high steer setups and it's decent, that's a good 100 bucks.

is it possible to salvage the manual locking 5X5.5 hubs for another D44? I suppose swapping the tubes is not possible?

It has 5x5.5 hubs? Waggy should have 6x5.5. Take a pic of the hubs. Would have to be either ford, dodge or IH and IH has factory high steer that looks different than that.

How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking ?I have seen kits to swap the waggy over to 5x5.5 before it might have that on it.I think the kit was spindles hubs/rotors only things different.
