Alright I know what most of what is going in that engine bay of mine. Not inside and out but I can poke my nose in and point it at specific things. This guy in the image has me perplexed. Its the little hose there that has a little plastic white. Its got some tape on it now but I would like to get it replaced. Its on my intake manifold. Closer to the firewall than the ccv. Looks like it goes into something to do with throttle control?

 

That would be a one way valve for the vaccum canister for the vent controls inside the vehicle. I wouldn't change it cause they r hard to find.

 

You were right about the part name but I didn't have a problem finding it. 2 dollars at pepboys auto and the guy even through in 2inches of hose free lololol
