Weird problem with LED bulbs. Help!!!
So, I have LED bulbs throughout my Jeep. I started having an issue that I can't seem to fix. When my lights are off, sometimes when I hit my brakes, all my lights including dash lights, come on along with the brake lights. When I turn the running lights on, my third brake light stays lit along with the tail light bulbs in the "on" or "high mode". If I take off my housings and mess with them, they end up working for a bit until driving around for a bit. Then the problem comes back. I have tried two types of LED bulbs. I have load resistors on the tail lights and turn signals. I also have an LED flasher. Have any of you had any of these issues? I don't think it's a bad brake switch. I have checked all the fuses. I do have a tow hitch that was wired along time ago but not by me so I have not unhooked it to see if this might be the issue. Could it be that a ground is bad? Here is the thing though, when I put regular filament bulbs in, the problems go away completely. Any ideas or direction I should go in? ANY HELP would be appreciated.
