I think I'll just get some 35's. I went to the shop thats near me that deals with nothing but jeeps and they're the ones that told me 33's were the max. I've done a lot of searches for bigger lifts and I really didn't find much on it. I already have everything done to mine that I can think of doing with the 6.5 besides the 35's, axels, and gears. It's a fun toy and I was wanting to see if there was an easy but cheaper way to get bigger besides building a new jeep. I guess I'll throw some 35's on and get the extra 1-2 out of them and call it good until I find another toy to build.

don't lift CUT....

I'm not too big on cutting the fenders. I'm pretty sure the 35's will fit as it sits since i have plenty of room at full flex the way it is, but i'm not 100% sure on it. Does anyone else on here have a 6.5" with 35's and is still running stock fenders?

If you use the right size bumpstops the tires will never touch the fenders. It will kill a lot of up travel not cutting the fenders tho.

I already have bumpstops, I don't remember what size they are though.

Go one tons and 37s, I did the 35s with stock axle with chromoly shalfs, what a waste of money that was, my jeep is pretty high I guess it works very well with full widths
|
Just wondering what was the whole process to get the 1 tons under it and roughly how much was the total build cost? I'm just trying to get a general idea of what it'll take to do it if I go that route.

My front was about $10,000 dana 60, shalfs, 5.13, Detroit locker, long arms, ram assist, fox coil overs, engine cage, rear around $4,000 and a lot of odds and ins
|
I think if I go that route It'll have to wait a while. I'm pretty sure my wife will kick my *** if I spend that much lol. I think I'll stick to my 6.5 long arm with the 33's for a bit until I need to do some work to it.

This ones is my buddy's, 37s stick axle trussed, shalfs, works well just broke a few driver side shalfs, but he has to baby it, 6in lift long arms
|
Sorry stock axles
|
I like how that looks, the only thing that turns me off is breaking the shafts. I wish I could figure out how to put a pic of mine on here. It said my profile pic was uploaded but I don't see it anywhere.

They still flex very good
|
I really do like that

I'm confused as to what you're really wanting to do here. Do you want to be bigger just because? Like sit higher for a purpose or just to look cool? That would help people know what to tell you to help you. If you want 35s they will fit easily on your lift. I have ran 35s on my 3inch lift. IMO anything over 6.5 is too high and even 6.5 is too high for me.
