wanting to convert to electric fan... questions
this will be on my 1996 Cherokee Sport 4.0HO
I am planning to use a thermoswitch from another car... and use the theroswitch to kick a relay, relay to power the fan
but I do not know a few things:
what temp should the fan kick on? 180? 190? 200? 210? 100000000015.675?\
any ideas what cheap thermoswitches would work?
wheree should I place the thermoswitch to get a good coolant temp reading?

I used a generic thermoswitch you buy over the counter at autozone or advance or something like that. It was the type that said it was 'adjustable' by moving the probe in and out. It was made to go into you radiator. It didnt read the temps very well cause it would kick the fan on at 220-230 degs. I threw it away and now just run a switch that i leave on all the time in the summer or off in the winter
