This^. You want the ujoint angles to be almost the same at both ends of the shaft.

Ok so a TC drop or shims next? I just did both rear u joints made a little difference for the better but the vibes are still there.. I think I'll do the shims.. I don't really like the idea of dropping the TC down... What poor design by the way! If I had the cash I'd just do an SYE and new drive shaft. But low $ fixes will have to do for now.

Agreed. Do the shims first. Later, if needed, fender washers can be used - install a couple at a time - to accomplish a fine-tuned t-case drop.
