Vibration after 2" lift?
Just got done doing a 2" budget boost, add a leaf, front 1.75 spacers and 4 shocks on 01 XJ. Now there is a new vibration, I was under the impression that I wouldn't have to drop anything for that small of a lift. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks

You can get driveline vibes after any lift. Usually newer jeeps get vibes more easily but every jeep is different and some get vibes some don't. Anyway! A 1" tcase drop should fix them or if your good with math stuff you might want to measure your penion angles and use shims to correct them, or a combination of the both. If you have the money then you can get a sye and cv driveshaft which will perminantly fix the vibes but that really isn't necissary at 2".

I've also heard of cases where new u-joints took care of vibrations after a small change in height was made. Might be worth a try anyway.
you may also want to take your front dshaft off and go for a drive to confirm the rear is the problem before you do anything.

I don't really want to get back under that thing for a while, but sounds like a drop is next project. Would Rough Country have what I need for that? How big of a project is this one going to be? Thanks for all the help!

I went through all that. Tomorrow i will be taking the 1 inch drop out and putting Iron Rocks hack n tap sye, its the only way to go.
I have a 4 inch lift, 1" drop transfer and brand new u-joints that are all hacked up now, mine was vibrating like crazy.
