I just replaced that this weekend and the noise is still there I have a mechanic buddy and he thinks I need to lower my transfer case

 

much rather prefer an sye, but that's just me. I don't like band aid fixes. If you do go the transfer case drop route, d ont jump straight to the 1 inch drop. It may only take a quarter inch of washers.

Yep, start with a 1/4" drop and take it for a test drive. If you still have some slight vibes add a washer (drop to a 3/8) and re-test, then try 1/2".

Companies that make/sell the 1" drop to instantly solve the the issue for the masses, but it better to keep as much belly clearance as possible and only drop it down as far as it needs.
