Im about to put a 6 inch long arm kit on my 96 cherokee and i was wondering if the current steering set up would be alright to keep or would I need to get a 1 ton over the knuckle set up? And with the 1 ton set up is it specifically for 1 ton axles or will it be okay for my dana 30?

I would upgrade. When they refer to one ton they are speaking of the ends and rod size. They are similar or identical to those used on 1 ton trucks. It will work on your factory axles. I would recommend the serious off-road kit as its the only one I've found that you can purchase with inserts directly.

Franks really active here as well. He will probably appear before too long to answer any questions you may have. I'm not sure who is more reliable in appearing when needed. Frank or cruiser.

To run over the knuckle you gotta weld on a new track bar mount get a new track bar and move the swaybar brackets up plus drill your knuckles and pitman arm.Under the knuckle takes the same drilling of the knuckles and pitman arm.So if you can't do either of the work both take budget in for a shop to do it for you.
