Hi,

First time post, been snooping for a long time. I have an 89 xj(renix) and am in the process of upgrading the intake and exhaust header. I have an intake from a 99 (new) and from all the research, it will fit. My problem is with the exhaust header. I want to put a Banks, model 51327 and their info says, will fit 1991-99 Jeep 4.0 Wrglr, 96-98 Cherokee.

I have talked to Banks and they dont know if it will fit, also talked to several dealers, and they dont know either. The only thing I can think of is the size of the exhaust ports. I do know the exhaust ports from 99 and up are smaller than my 89.

Has anyone done this conversion and what luck or lack of it have you had.
