you don't need a bad *** set of electric fans. what you need is a new radiator if yours is shot. yes 2 row, not 3 row
a set of fans isn't going to fix your problem

good call. I have the same radiator. while you're replacing the rad, you should definitely throw in a new pump
if you're over heating with all new cooling parts then I'd check the heater core for a clog. check it and flush it when you're doing the rad
if you do decide to get a high flow pump (there are other brands besides flowkooler) don't forget to get a new high flow 195* tstat to go with it
it's up to you. I'd rather buy a zj fan clutch for $30 instead.

It moves alot more air through the rad and A/C condensor than a std XJ fan. As someone stated elsewhere a std ZJ fan clutch makes for a hvy duty XJ fan clutch. I just put one on mine (NAPA #272310). But along with the other things I did to the cooling system at the same time I may have gotten the same good results with a new XJ fan clutch but decided it couldn't hurt. You can definitely hear it but XJ's aren't exactly quiet so........
I just used my XJ fan. I don't know what the ZJ fan looks like but if you go the ZJ fan/fan clutch route just watch for clearance problems. Your XJ fan is a direct bolt up to the ZJ fan clutch. Thing is you won't know if your getting a good or weak fan clutch if it's used and a new NAPA one,at least here, was only around $45. I couldn't locate a source online that wouldn't have cost me about the same with shipping.
One other thing is that there are hvy duty ZJ fan clutches. A std one is the same height as a XJ's but is a lot bigger in diameter. Make sure you get the right one if you go used.

I just put in a 2 row radiator, and wired in a electric fan (ignition hot w/relay) and it runs 20* cooler

stock replacement radiator, wpump & tstat, dual electric fans from a chrysler 300, and it runs ~250, even when crawling thru mud on hot days. very happy with it.
a completely stock setup will work fine in any weather if the system is healthy, but its nice to be able to kill both fans before fording deep water.
that 3-fan setup looks F*&%^ng SWEET
