I put a 96' MC in my 89' a while ago, switch worked fine at first now it only works a couple days after some silicone lube.

I cant trust the factory setup anymore any suggestions on which universal brake light switch to get?

Swap in newer pedal assembly allows to upgrade too newer style switch.

Try loosening the bolt that holds the pedal to the booster a quarter turn or so. Mine was working intermittently when I installed my WJ booster, then I loosened the bolt a tick. Works like a champ now.
