U-Joints
I have a 2000 XJ with about 4'' of lift and am needing to change the U-Joints in my drive shaft and not sure what brand to go with. I have heard that the Auto Zone and O'Reilly brand are not the best. If somebody has an idea or in put on this I would appreciate it. I tried to search it but did not really find anything on it.
I am also needing to change my front shocks and also not sure what a good brand is. I do not what to buy some brand and they turn out to be crap.

For the shocks, it depends on what you want out of shocks. I have often seen "any shock painted white sucks." If all you want out of the shock is to keep you from bouncing around on the road, cheapos are fine. I have had Procomp ES3000's all around (very cheap) on mine for about 4 years and they do fine for that. Just make sure the lengths are good for your needs.
Longevity is not an issue if the lengths are correct. If you are looking for a more broad shock experience, someone with nice shocks can post up

Ya I think I will go with the spicer.
I do want my xj to have the most out of its flexing and offloading capabilities and still drive nice on the road. So i do not want stiff short ones i guess right? How long is to long for a jeep with about 4in lift?
I am picking up some quick disconnects this next week I hope waiting on the guy to call back.

I've broken several of those and yes you have a warranty but do you really want to keep swapping them out. Spend a few bucks more and you won't have to worry as much. Spicers run 20-25 bucks so it's not that big of a difference.
