Default u bolts to big?

hey guys im putting in my first ever lift and it looks like the u bolts they sent me are to big. I have a picture of it and yes i know im putting it in upside down i was checking to see if it fits. Is there anywere local that sells these i need this done.

Do you have the u bolt running through the spring perch? Cant tell if they are to big unless we can see the axle tube

Too wide, for a larger axle tube? It's possible

it fits fine around the axl it just seems like its 1/2 inch off of each hole.

That would mean that you have a dana 35 rear axle and you ordered u bolts for an 8.25chrysler axle. Do you have a d35? Advance Auto by my house has ubolts in the towing/trailer section so most auto part stores should have them.

im pretty sure i don't have a d35. 8.25s have that lip on the bottom right? thats what mine has and that is how i figured it out.

The u-bolts should fit snug against the axle tube.
Measure the inside of the u-bolts.

Check it around the axle tube like how it will sit when installed

Measure the distance between the two straight parts of the u bolt. It needs to be 3" for an 8.25.

Ya it's 3.5. What axle even takes this. Ah I guess I'll go look for a 3 inch one at the parts store
