Turbine intake mock-supercharger kit
Just came across this and it looks like a cool concept, but what is your guys opinion on how much it would work? Jeep Intake Supercharger Kit
The company that makes it claims that it boosts your engine 5psi and adds 15-35% hp for up to 30 secs at a time. The install video shown on the page is on a Cherokee too so I don't think its just a universal-ricer product.

Garbage. The motor in your car pulls more air faster than that thing will. Id bet its more of a restriction than a power booster.

this idea can work only if you do "full throttle" because engine runs on open loop mode, like it is cold.
because of intake air masurements (direct or indirectly) car thinks sensors are out of order and gives you a nice check engine light
i know this becasue i tried this on my previous nissan with a 750 watt Rc plane ducted fan motor. it stumbled and gave me MAF sensor readings are out of range error.

theres a video floating around on YooToob of a civic dyno'ing like 15hp+ with a leafblower shoved in the intake.. then they took a nitrous bottle and sprayed it onto the leafblower's intake and it got like 50hp+ lmao. oh the things riceboys try in the pursuit of horsepower :P
and no, that glorified ceilingfan engine you posted wont push air fast enough to do anything but restrict your intake.

It says its electric meaning it is spun by an electric motor and you can clearly see the power wires hanging on the side of it.
Its definently not just spun by the intakes air.
