Truck is stalling when in gear
 

I have just changed my transmission on 96 xj as it was stuck in 4th gear and wouldn’t drop into first but now it wants to stall when I put it into gear. it drives fine in reverse, starts and stops sweet. In 4Lo it drives fine too. I am currently running 35s on 4.1 gears which could be part of the problem too?
any help would be appreciated cheers

Disconnect the "solenoids" connector in the link below. If it doesn't stall anymore, you have an issue with the TCM.

it still stalls with that unplugged, does that mean it isn’t my TCM?

edit: I unplugged the wrong plug, it no longer stalls now must be my tcm, thank you
