trickle charger on dual battery setup
Long story short I plan on hooking up a solar panel to dual marine batteries to a power inverter.
Well until I get a solar panel I have no way of keeping the two batteries charged. The batteries are linked in parallel (battery #1 positives to battery #2 positives, battery #1 negative to battery #2 negative) with 0/1 gauge wire. Since they wont be used everyday I was thinking a small 1.5amp tickle charger could be mounted inside then plugged in overnights. Good idea or bad? If ok then how do I connect the charger to the batteries so it charges both?
