Transmission swap
I have a 96. Bought it with a 5 speed, swapped it over to a automatic.... (Yeah Yeah 5 speeds are better, personal opinion, I don't want to deal with a clutch while trailing.) That being said, has anyone ever does this? All I need to do now is wire the transmission up. I pulled a 98's wire harness because I heard it was a direcT match to the 96 but it's not and I haven't been able to find a 96 with my wire harness in it. So what I was gonna do is trace all the trans wires and basically just plug them into my harness. Need some insight though.
