Long time reader first time poster. I am doing a 3in ome lift on my 01. My problem is I cant get the stud for the tranny cross member out. I tried the two nut method followed by the vise grip method. It will turn about a quarter of a turn clockwise and counter clockwise. No further. Any ideas?

Someone broke all of mine (Bought it with a blown motor and half apart)... I tried burning them out with an o2, but they didn't like that. I ended up grinding them flat with the unibody and machining my own spacers and welding in grade 8 bolts. Took that block and welded it to the unibody.
Don't be scared, but just know there is always a way.
