Default Transgo shift kit in AW4

Hey guys,
I just bought the Reprogramming kit for my AW4 from Transgo.
http://www.transgo.com/products.php?...dcountview=Yes

There are two possible mod options on it, one is Hot Rod and the second one is Trucks. I'm not an english native, can anyone help to decide which mod I should choose to my Jeep ? what actually is difference between those mods ? I'm willing to make Hot Rods as I guess it will shift quicker but I'm not sure, there is no way back to Trucks mod then.

Many thx in advance.

You want the 'truck' mod setting. We have 2 kits installed.

Hot Rod setting is just that, fast hard shifts. Leave it for the Supra guys with the AW4 and not for the Jeep guys.

CobraMarty, could you also help me with one page from the installation manual ? Assuming I'm going to make "truck" mod I should skip only section I marked below or just a full page ?

I think that if you don't want Hot Rods and want Truck, you skip this step.

Me I would not alter kits install one bit . Parts supplied are meant to be used as supplied might downgrade its affect.

The instruction sheets have both 'Truck' and 'Hot Rods' on the same pages. You need to do one or the other.

Make sure you are following the right VB type instructions. I highlighted the ones (Truck) I wanted and scratched out the ones (Hot Rods) I didn't. Don't mix.

Mine were done several years ago. I don't remember all the details.
