So I noticed my front drive shaft has pretty much ZERO movement available in the slip joint, I can barely even remove the front shaft from the yoke on the pinion. I had to take the end caps off the u joint. I figure a set of adjustable lower control arms would fix this issue. What I really wanted to know is does the drive shaft extend during upwards travel of the axle? cause if it goes in or gets shorter as it goes up I literally shouldn't even be driving it. But I assume it extends during travel? What if the left side goes down? Either way Lower adjustable arms are going to be ordered in short order. I was trying to get away with just running the Rough Country fixed lowers, and adjustable uppers, but looks like that's not happening now. Honestly the transfer case drop is more trouble than it's worth. Save up for an SYE. IMO.

 

The driveshaft extends as the suspension compresses... You have RC fixed lowers on their now? Are they the same length as stock? The IRO fixed LCAs are longer than stock to the point that I needed a longer driveshaft due to my lower ride height of ~3.5" and the fact that the front output flange on a NP242 sits back about 3/8" compared to a NP231. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't believe that you necessarily need adjustable LCAs to fix your issue...
