I will be going to about 4 inchs, and i will need a trackbar, is the rustys one good? also is there a need for a replacemnt tie rod?

Don't get the rustys trackbar it will break if you wheel alot, go with a ironrock offroad or rough country trackbar there adjustable and close to the same price. Also yes I would replace the tie rod with a bigger one iron rock offroad or rough country also has them and stronger IMO

You need to be sure the drag link and trac bar are parallel.

There is no real need to replace the tie rod, just that stock tie rods are weak. I'd suggest a zj tie rod upgrade if you're on a budget.

That is a good upgrade but for 79.95 the rough country looks beefier to me

You shouldn't need a draglink unless your is worn out but the steering wheel will be off when you lift it and get the trackbar on just adjust the drag link till its center again

Any trackbar that has a double-shear end on the frame side (which usually includes a new mounting bracket) is what you will want to go with. The single-shear (factory style) variants, no matter who manufactures it, is a ****-poor design. Just my $.02.

Until you realize that it uses stock tre's. The zj tre's are much beefier.

I'm not knocking the upgrade, I just never had a tre break just bend the **** out of the sleeve lol

They use the same tie rod ends as our XJ's. The actual rod is much more stout but the rod ends are the same.

I have the RC adjustable track bar but upgraded the stock TRE to a 1 ton Chevy unit from MOOG.
