I have 235/75/15s on my stock Xj. No rubbing problem at all. Haven't had to trim anything. You will be good with 2 in. Lift.

if it's wheeled you can go up to 30's without rubbing with a 2" lift. if it's not wheeled 31's shouldn't be a problem.

LOL thanks. I'd look at 31's then, aside from no probs around town they'll give you more tire and a bigger foot print when you air down in sand.

A buddy of mine runs 32s on his stock ZJ. I'd say anything is possible If you don't have the lift don't bother if 235s are all the bigger you want. If you do go 30s or 31s like someone else already said

my only suggestion is if you go with 30s or 31s, get new rims with less backspace. my 30s on stock rims would hit the LCA. but only on sharp turns.

235/75's on 2" BB. This was without the rear bump stops, but It still had some more to give before it was going to hit anything. The rear sway bar is off in the second pic.
