Tire sizes?
A guy a block from my house is having a garage sale and I noticed 2 really meaty offroad tires.
They're Spartans but the sizes are L78 I think.
I'm currently running 31x10.5x15 stock Cherokee wheels
The Spartans are for 15s too but I want to know if they're the correct sizing or not. He wants 25 a tire which I don't want a deal like that to slip away for what he says are brand new tires
I have the part time transfer case

I'm unsure about the size but I would suggest checking the manufacture date on them even though he says they are new. No sense in wasting any money on a old tire

it converts over to like a 235 75 15 maybe even a little smaller. dont think theyll work with 31s.

Are you looking to rplwce the once you have now or mix and match? If mix in then it should be fine that's a good deal

My front 2 tires are pretty dead. My back 2 are decent. I was thinking about replacing the front 2 and leave the back 2 as is. But if they're a different size the second I drop it into 4wd my driveline was bind up because the different sizing. You know what I mean?
I was considering it. Like I said the tires are brand new. Theyre on 2 really rusted steelies that are 6 lug

But they're smaller. Maybe I'm mistaken but wouldn't have different sized tires in the front and back be the same thing as re-gearing one diff slightly and leaving the other one alone? The driveshafts wont be spinning at the same speed
