Default tire/rim size question

im sorry if this is in the wrong place. but i was planning on getting some tires off craigslist tomorrow and have a few questions. im planning on getting LT265/75R16, 10ply. bfg tires. would these rub too much? i have a 3" lift but bad leafs in the back. also how hard would it be to find 16" rims with the stock cherokee lug pattern? i apreciate the help guys, thanks.

I went with 265 70's they are just under 31". 265 75 r16's will be closer to 32", and more than 10.5 wide. I have 3" with some rear sag and have no problems with the rear. I do rub some when hard over up front. Though this doesn't really bother me.

so you think i will be ok? 5 tires for 250 with 70% tread left. great deal but only if they will work without too much money going into other things

U can probly find some rims at your local junk yard. My 16's are stock I think they only came stock on 00-01. If your bying rims why not go with 15's? You'll get a better ride with more tire options and you won't bend them as quickly in the woods.

Five tires for 250 ain't bad though those 265 75's may give some rub. I lined a set up beside my jeep and they looked like trouble that's why I went with 70's.

Well you can plan on dropping another buck on rims, at that rate I would hold out for some 31 10.5 r15's.
