tire regrooving??

just had a set of nice swampers givin to me and the center of the tires is pretty slick and worn really flat...........not sure if this is in the correct thread and sorry if not but does anyone know if I can regroove these tires in the center. my digi camera is mia so i cant get a pic up just yet. anyone have any experience in this?? any help or input would be great.
the outer sides are in good shape, its just the center.......

depends on the swamper...i have had sx's and trxus mts when they were bald they were thiiiiiinnnnnnnnn i think boggers have some leaway

when most people re-groove a tire they alter a new tread pattern to be different, bigger gaps, smaller lugs, more bend/flex points ect... when it is worn down, its worn down, the carcus is a thin layer of plys. pls correct me if i am wrong but i dont think you can.... (we all know you "could") but don't think it's a good idea.
