Where can i get some 1" or 1-1/4" threaded rod? Making control arms. Was going to weld it to upper axle side to make it adjustable. Prolly cheaper than buying a johnny joint.

Most places that sell joints sell what they call weld spuds (i think) you simply weld them to the .oint or bushing sleeve and put a threaded insert in the tube of the control arm. Or you can even just get bushing housings or joints with the threaded spud already forged into the housing or already welded.

What about making my own? Cnc. I could use stainless and get it heat treated if needed.
