TC noise.. now worse..
the chain in my TC is stretched and when 4wd is engaged there is a very unfortunate noise. my new issue is that it is now making that noise when not in 4. it is much quieter than when actually in 4wd, but i can feel it thru the steering and kinda thru the breaks. i pulled a coworker outta the mud this am and had to use 4. when done and back into 2wd there was no noise. i drove around the back roads thru some SOFT dirt, i had the pedal mashed at one point... but i didnt need/use 4wd. then, pulling into a parking lot there was a berm of snow from where the plows had pushed it together. i drove over it for a few feet, till it got tall enough that i thought i was going to high center. so i drove off of it and thats when it happened. as i stated, there was a noise and a clunking, not nearly as bad as when in 4, but still noticeable when going slower.. so wft did i do??? ALSO, is it normal for front driveshaft to spin when in 2? thanks.
