Tail light wiring
I have changed up the tail light buckets on my 91 a couple times. I wanted to Have a single light with a sealed beam reverse light but have ran into some tricky issues.
I know that I need a trailer light convertor (take the separate brake and blinker and "blend" them to a single light), not an issue, works perfect as is. The tricky thing is, if I remove the lights from the jeep, and run them thru the "blender" I only have tail lights. Now if I step on the brake and then turn on the blinker, I have that corresponding light. Wire in the lights on the jeep and everything works properly, including the "blender"
I have bought a set of THOR4x4 corner guards and want to only have one light. Has anyone else had this problem? What was done to remedy it?
Here are some pictures of the set up
