Default Sye Install Question

I am in the process of installing a Rugged Ridge SYE in my NP231 transfer case and I am wondering what position I should have the lugs on the two shift forks in relation to the shift mechanism?

Because its a mechanical lineage I don't think it would really matter because wherever you have them when you close the case should be exactly where the handle is
