Default SYE?

I have a NP231 out of a 89 Cherokee Lerado that has a A.A. SYE on it I believe. Im looking to buy another cherokee there,... are 2 right now that im looking at buying .

(1) is a 99 Classic and the other (1) is a 2000 Sport. The question I have is that after buying one of these cherokee's I do plan on lifting it. So will the SYE I already have fit onto a newer NP231?

Thanks for any help.

I already have a Front Dana 30 that has 4:10's and powertrax locker, and a rear Dana 44 with 4:10's and detroit locker. So it doesn't matter which year cherokee either should be fine.
