No, you do not need to replace the uppers at your lift height.

I think it is. When you raise the rig away from the axle an OEM LCA will pull the axle rearward, a longer or adjustable LCA allows you to correctly locate the axle again.

You guys still run sway bars
Lost mine years ago

Nightcrawler
Think of the OE control arms as a beer can, i would get some uppers also. If you wheel at all your just gonna bend/break the stock ones and aftermarket uppers are cheap.

Don't waste that kind of money on quick disconnects. Just buy 2 pins from home depot or a hardware store. It's the same thing

You should have gotten a 3 3/4-4" BS for the wheels these are what are called for about all XJ's.

On my 99 now at 3 1/2" I run a 15x8" with 3 3/4" BS with a 33x12:50x15 MT's

I got two of these and bolted them to the lower mounts. The hole needed to be drilled out some. Also the stabilizer mount needs to be trimmed or removed. I'm running serious steering kit so I don't have a stabilizer so that wasn't a problem for me. Just get some pins that fit in the holes and that's about it. I used the links that came with my lift. It worked great and is simple.
