Don't know if this is right place to ask but anyways... I got a 2000 xj and a co-worker just bought what he thinks is a pre-97 Cherokee. My question is will his doors fit on my XJ? Also cut his rockers and passenger and driver's side rear quarter panels. He's scrapping it cause of rotting frame. Engine and suspension is great runner if anyone is interested.

 

Physically, it'll go there. Now the differences. Hinges and striker design.

 

If your going to build like half doors out of them i would if not pass on them.

I wouldn't back date doors, 97+ doors on older XJ is a different story.
