Stroked and Supercharged?
I know this is ambitious but hear me out. I need to build a motor for my 2000 Cherokee. Pretty much decided the stroker was the only way to go. Figure the 4.7L should feel pretty good over the stock 4.0. Here is the kicker, I have a good friend who owes me a little, and happens to have a complete supercharger kit for the 4.0. So is it worth it? I am already budgeting for the stroker build. And the supercharger is nearly free, cost me some labor awhile back, but no cash out of my pocket now. Has anybody supercharged a stroked 4.0 around here? If so what do you think of it? How is the reliability? I do a lot of trails, not really heavy mudding very often, but still some pretty good wheeling, not a lot of serious rock crawling. Maybe I am getting a little excited thinking about all the potential, but with little to no more expense over the stroker build...maybe I could have a seriously bad Jeep.

Many more turbo setups for them than superchargers.
