strange doorless method?

someone told me that you can use and air hammer to pound out all the door pins rather than cutting them. I'm kinda confused as to how this would work. Has anyone ever seen, heard of, or done this before?

I'm not sure why would want to do that... You don't need to remove the pin.

thats a pretty dumb idea. so you have to magically have someone hold the door perfectly aligned and somehow get a hammer in there perfectly straight to pound them back in every time you wanted to put them back on?
the cut hinge metod works great and it takes seconds to remove and put the doors back on.
