Yes many people have done it and its a waste of time and money not to mention the humiliation of being seen with it. Its pointless because the front bumper is pretty much a soda can and will fold up if you hit anything. And probably 90 percent of people with stingers dont actually need one, they just think it makes them look cool

Unless your a hardcore rock crawling a stinger has no use but looks,And mounting one to the stock bumper is not a good idea like said.I would spend the money in a better place like skid plates or rock sliders first.

I have some tubing on my bumper (not stock) and it isn't just for looks. I never plan on extreme rock crawling and needing it. But I live in thick deer country and don't want a deer crashing through my grill or windshield. Also makes a nice place.to sit while working in the engine bay.
Bolting one.to the stock bumper seems pointless, but a stinger/tubing on the front can have a couple uses.
