yea its no fun trying to get folks at the sales counter to figure out what the hell you want. Have them pull the parts and start putting things together there on the counter. Spent about half an hour getting the right drag link and TREs, then they pulled out an XJ tie rod. just walked out shaking my head

If you do this mod, please get the part # of what is exactly needed and post them. I have been wanting to do this but have never got it all straight. I'm just wanting to change everything after the drag link, I think.

you could simply upgrade to a heavy duty tierod and skip all the ZJ BS.

Something like this

I am looking at parts and it appears that both adjustment sleeves on a ZJ the one close to the pitman arm and the one on the tie rod are the same, is this correct?

I used advanced auto online for the discount, I typed in the info for a grand Cherokee with a v8,closest to my first 91, ordered all the steering gear, ends and the bars, ect. fit right on my 91, now she is gone and I have my 93 now, with the same steering gear connected up.

I had a JKS one and it was stout. I'll actually be posting it up for sale here soon as I no longer need it.

I have been running 31s with ARB front and rear lockers for 15 years with no problems at all. RE 3 1\2 lift. Everything else is dead stock.

My rock crawling is a little limited but it does take a pounding.
