Default Steering stabilzer??

Just wondering if the brand really matters on this part because I have done some searching and the overall consensus is that this isn't the most important part you need up front. However my xj is my DD and I travel back home from college (300 miles one way) every month or so and I think this would help a little if I replaced the stock one. So my question is, does brand, heavy-duty /non heavy-duty matter??? On ebay they have a monroe stabilizer for 25$ and a RC heavy duty one for 40$. Here are the links....first one is the monroe, Thanks!!

I would say that if you can, don't go cheap on any suspension part. No, you should not need one at all with a perfectly working suspension, but why risk it?

I don;t run one... this allowed me to rework the axle side track bar bracket for more clearance since there was not a useless stabilizer sitting there in the way...

either take it off or just run a cheapo

So don't buy a stabilizer and just invest in a good track bar??? can i use a 4-6' track bar for a 3in lift? I plan on moving up in future and don't want to buy 2 bars

just wait for the bigger lift to get one that will be the correct length, and the kit you buy may come with one. Most of the shocks/stabalizers are made by the same company and most likely it wont matter. Which ever you feel like would be better for you.

Just get a normal one and a Adj. tracbar. You dont need a SS but it helps if you have minor wobble
