How many people run no sway bars with a 1 Ton steering setup? I'm gonna run otk by fst but I'm kinda scared to just take my sway bar off since I drive on highway some days

There are several factors that may make it different between one person and the next. The spring rate of your coils, shocks etc. On mine with the IRO 6.5" long arm lift and Bilstein shocks, I HATE it without the sway bar. The body pitches a lot more when hitting a bump, getting passed, strong gusts of wind etc. That is my opinion. I hate running with it off.
Tons of people do take it off and have no issues. Take it off (only a few bolts) and take it for a spin. If you hate it, go with a different steering.

There was just a thread by a guy who was trying to find a way to mount the sway bar back on with the FST steering. I gave him this link- no sure if this sway bar mount is high enough to avoid it or not but it is in different location for sure- http://www.rocky-road.com/xj-high-steer.html

I've just heard mixed emotions about it I have disconnects so I guess I can just pin them up for a few days and drive on it see how it feels

You should be scared. It is a 100% proven fact sway bars decrease the chance of a roll over. The people that say its fine to run without it have not need it yet.

Also at this this point its almost as stupid to by something from FST as it is to run without a sway bar. The wait time for his stuff has reached unexceptable limits.

Ya go to their Facebook page and look at recent posts from people waiting for paid product over 3 months ago. I'm almost guessing there is more to it than not just having time to build the stuff. Just looked again now a hour ago there is links posted by guy to bbb claim. Ya stay away
