The RE steering XJ88 posted up is also a good one. I run it on mine. Don't cheap out, get the double sheer.

As for the drag link, you're going to have to call the mfg of the one you have now and see what they say. If the drag link is too small for your Jeep you will find out as soon as you throw that new track bar on and adjust it because you will run out of adjusting threads on your drag link or be close to running out if it is too small. You want the drag link to be threaded into each end securely, not jat barely in there.

Don't cheap out on this stuff. It is your steering.

I can see that being an issue. But I would say you definitely need to get that track bar. When you get the track bar it is going to push your axle off even more in order to center it properly so you will need the extra length on a larger drag link as well.

Like I said, call the mfg and tell them your set up. See what they say. If it didn't say it on eBay anywhere, see if they will exchange it for the proper size.

DONT TOUCH THE STEERING STOPS. Dont know why everybody is saying that, its not like one side can magically extend itself when you put the lift on.

Get it aligned. If your axle isnt centered, or drag link not adjusted properly your steering box will bottom out turning to one side before it reaches full lock.

Alright, so you suggest, getting the track bar, get everything centered and see if i need a draglink exchange, should i measure like was said above to see if is my stops or no? cause before i put the lift and steering stuff on, it had full turning for both ways ( L and R)

okay, so get it alined first and if it still dosnt turn all the way to the right like its supposed to then get the adjustable track bar, or get the track bar before the alignment?

An alignment MIGHT take care of it. Hard to tell because you never see anyone running the stock trackbar at 4.5 inches for a few reasons. You can add the trackbar later, but will have to adjust your drag link as well to get the steering wheel back to center.

Id reccomend a quality trackbar at a 4.5" lift anyway. Definately not a place where you should pinch pennies.

as long as the jeep turns fully to right and left i could really care less about the steering wheel being not straight, idc if its side ways or upside down as long as it turns fully both left and right i will be as happy as a pig in $hit

Yes the drag link makes a difference. If you bolt a longer or shorter one on the steering wheel will change positions. Tires will stay straight but you will lose turning radius one way or another since the steering wheel changes position. Most rigs the pitman arm is parallel with the frame rails with the tires straight and steering wheel centered. Check that also. Ireally suck at explaining things sorry...and get the axle centered via trac bar

What are you talking about? There was not much known about his setup so of course it could be a possibility. After hearing what he had done and where he was in the lifting stage of his XJ we obviously moved passed that.

Get a ****in grip man. Read the entire thread before you go blastin off like you know everything under the sun.

I just hate to see people post bad information, calm down. Everyone was telling him to go do something that most definately wont fix his problem. I read the whole thread, and i have seen his exact issue arise before in the past on a few occasions(one occasion being my own). Just trying to save the dude some time instead of "blastin" off bad info. Relax.
